Director
Star #2
When a 10 year old girl steals the show by singing a Big Sean song you can figure out a couple of things about the movie. First, it's going to be raunchy and second, the rest of the movie isn't as funny as one would hope it would be.

All of the characters in this film are fun and funny, but everyone plays exactly to type. Charlie Day is the same person he is in almost every other movie he's done, and the same can be said for Jillian Bell and Tracy Morgan. Ice Cube does a fine job. He plays the straight guy well.

I was a little bit surprised at how raunchy this film was. I knew it was going to be pretty bad, but there were some things said and done that were well beyond what I was expecting.

The jokes are decent and plentiful, but there are only a handful of moments that are truly laugh-out-loud funny. Most of the punch lines deserve a lip curl at best.

All of that said, it's been a long time since we've had even an average comedy to see in theaters. If you are in need of a few good laughs and are willing to tolerate a ton of juvenile humor you may find yourself enjoying FIST FIGHT.
