Plot Summary
A man goes back to his criminal past in order to save the girl he loves
Director
If you like expensive cars, high speed chases, and you don't care about things like plot holes or good writing, or good acting you'll love this movie. For everyone else, you need to be willing to check your brain at the door if you are going to enjoy this film at all.

This film does offer some great action scenes in some super sexy sports cars, a decent amount of suspense, and a good twist (even though the twist relies on a massive plot hole, but remember, we've already checked our brains at the door). It's a fun, fast-paced thriller, but that's about it.

The plot holes, and there are many, are so big that they almost derail the film entirely. Then you throw on top of that some very poor acting by Anthony Hopkins and terrible writing for the other characters, and you have a movie that is only watchable because of the action.

This feels like a poor man's version of the FAST AND FURIOUS films or a made-for-TV knockoff of GONE IN 60 SECONDS. It'll give you what you want with the action, but you'll probably forget you even saw this movie three months from now.

Personally, I am a huge fan of both Nicholas Hoult and Felicity Jones, but this movie doesn't do them any favors. If you want to see them in great form watch Hoult in WARM BODIES and Jones in THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING.
