Plot Summary
A teen girl relives the last day of her life, trying to get things right
BEFORE I FALL is basically a mashup of THE BREAKFAST CLUB, MEAN GIRLS, and GROUNDHOG DAY, but mostly the good parts.

This is an interesting premise that, one the one hand makes you wish you could relive moments of your life, but on the other hand, shows you how terrible that could be.

The film starts out in an obnoxious way with about 30 minutes of thoroughly self-centered and shallow behavior all set to a soundtrack that just screams, "hey, listen to me! I'm the soundtrack and I'm cool, too!" After that we get into the meat of the film which is very good.

The acting and the storytelling draw you in, and the mystery keeps you engaged. Even up to the very end you aren't sure how things will turn out.

While I wouldn't put this film in the upper echelon of YA-book-to-film adaptations, (see ME, AND EARL, AND THE DYING GIRL, or THE DUFF, or THE EDGE OF SEVENTEEN), it is definitely one worth seeing and one you will enjoy.
