Clint Says: Wait for the DVD

If you've seen the other films in this franchise you know what you are getting yourself into with this film. It's a fun, funny, kid-friendly flick that is totally worth your time and money if your kids are into the books.

The new cast does a great job taking over where the last cast left off. (Although, I feel really old seeing Alicia Silverstone as a mom of a teenager). The only thing missing from this movie is Rowley. We only see him for a couple of minutes at the beginning of the film.

Critically speaking, there is nothing new or innovative about this movie that makes it a must-see. It's just like the other DIARY movies. That said, there are very few movies that are good and also hit the 10 year old target. So if you have a kid around that age and they are DOAWK fans, you should treat them to a fun day at the movies.
