Plot Summary
An aging man tries to tie up several loose ends in his life before dementia makes it impossible
One of the great sins in Hollywood is not having someone there to tell you "no" when you need it. That is why 9 out of 10 films that are written, directed, and starring the same person are terrible films. But that means that 1 out of 10 are good, and sometimes great.

Here Today is a great film.

This was written, directed, and stars Billy Crystal, and he pretty much nailed it. Not only is it funny and endearing, but it feels like it could be a real story lived out by real people. Crystal obviously took the time to make sure every scene felt authentic, and had an emotional delivery as well.

This is a film that will have you laughing a lot, but it will also bring you to tears and fill your heart with warmth. It feels like it hits all of the right tones. It never feels campy or overly sentimental, it simply feels real.

Tiffany Haddish is a wonderful addition to the cast. She plays her role well and plays off of Crystal with ease and an incredible chemistry. They are a joy to watch and their dialogue is thoroughly entertaining.

If you are looking for a few belly laughs and a good cry or two, this is a film worthy of your time and money. See it as soon as you can.
