Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Movie Information

Movie Title
ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY
Release Date
Movie Rating
Plot Summary
A small group of rebels go on a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star from Imperial forces
Star #2
Star #3
The moral of this tale is simple: Don't mess with Jyn Erso. And if you do mess with Jyn Erso she will mess you up. Oh, and she gets it done, too!

There were so many rumors flying around about this movie over the last several months, but the reality is nobody got to see it until release week. We heard it was bad: wrong. We heard they had to do major re-shoots to make it better: If they did, it worked.

If you are not a STAR WARS fan, you can still see this movie without having seen any of the other ones and will find it to be an interesting action flick. For STAR WARS fans, you are going to love how this film expands the STAR WARS universe and gives us glimpses at events that shaped the lives of the characters we know and love.

This is a different kind of STAR WARS film. It is grittier, it has a lot more intimate battle scenes, and it focuses much more on the quest than the characters. It is also a one-off film so the entire story arc takes place in this one movie.

There are a lot of elements that make this a STAR WARS film, but it is very different than any of the other seven. It is a very good movie with great actions and some powerful emotional scenes. (Some of which may be a bit too intense for younger audiences).

For fans of the franchise, get ready to do some serious Easter egg hunting. This movie is FILLED with fun tidbits and nods to the other films. That alone makes this a movie that you will want to see several times.

One bit of advice: Do not make plans after you see ROGUE ONE. You will want to go home immediately and throw A NEW HOPE into your DVD player.
