Plot Summary
The story of LBJ from just before he becomes Vice President through the death of JFK
Director
This is a film that check off a lot of the "award-winning film" boxes. Except it doesn't check off the biggest one. LBJ just isn't that good.

Woody Harrelson is amazing as LBJ, but beyond that everyone else feels either flat or based on stereotype. Also, the music is terrible. There were several times where the score was so not right for the scene that it pulled me out of the movie.

This is basically a documentary with pretty people. It doesn't give us any insight that we don't already know, it isn't earth-shattering in any way. It feels like something you'd see on The History Channel during a President's Day Weekend marathon.

There were several times during the movie where I asked myself what I call "The question of death", which is: Why was this movie even made? Typically, it's not a good thing if I'm bored enough for the question to pop into my mind. But for it to happen several times during one movie? Well, that means this one isn't worth your time or money.
