Plot Summary
A film crew follows the one of the best free climbers in the world as he attempts to climb a rock face nobody else has ever attempted
Director
There are two things you need to know about this documentary before you read any further:

1. Do not see this movie if you have a fear of heights. You'll probably fall out of your chair and hurt yourself.

2. If you aren't afraid of heights, see this film on the biggest screen you can find. It will give you a scale that will probably trigger a fear of heights you didn't know you had until this very moment.

Moving on...

This is easily one of the most intense documentaries I have ever seen. To watch a guy climb up the sides of massive cliffs without the aid of any ropes or harnesses is gut-wrenching. I spent the last 20 minutes barely breathing and gripping the armrests so tight that I'm surprised I didn't leave permanent dents in them.

Aside from the incredible climbing, this is a beautiful documentary about love, family, friends, and living your best life no matter how simple or crazy that life may be. If you watch this documentary and aren't wishing by the end that you were a little bit more like Alex with your own life then you either are Alex or you're already living your best life. For the rest of us, this film is highly inspirational.
