Plot Summary
A young Ruth Bader Ginsburg fights through the courts to make all laws equal to men and women
Director
Most people know Ruth Bader Ginsburg as a long-standing U.S. Supreme Court Justice. Most people don't know that well before that she was a lawyer who took on the issue of gender inequality during a time when discrimination based on one's sex was the norm.

One of the great things about this film is that it straddles the political line to perfection. It never feels like this film is pushing an agenda or mocking those on the left or the right. Sure, there are the lawyers she is fighting against that have their hardened stances, but they don't cross the line into political disagreements.

Whether one tends to agree or disagree with RGB's decisions from the bench it doesn't matter. This is a very good movie that covers her life from college through her late 30's. And Felicity Jones does a great job of playing RGB as a student, mother, and brilliant lawyer willing to take on the system.

Armie Hammer is also in this movie. He's the same character he always is in every movie. Nothing much to see there, but he does help move the plot forward, so thanks for that.

This is a compelling courtroom drama that has the ability to inspire teens to do something special with their lives. If you have teens you should take them to see this. You never know, they may end up on the U.S. Supreme Court someday.
