Quick Review
This is quite possibly the most average film I have ever seen. There isn't anything terrible about it, and there isn't anything outstanding. It just moves along and tells it's story in a very average way. It's not boring, it's not exciting, it's just there.
The acting? Average. Plot? Average. Effects? Average.
I think you get where I'm coming from.
There is one somewhat interesting fact about this film, if you are a huge movie fan. The star of the movie is the son of Andy Serkis. Andy is the go to guy for CGI characters created via motion capture technology. That really has nothing to do with this particular film's production, but at least it is a tad bit interesting.
If you have kids around the age of 8-10 they will probably like this movie, but it isn't going to be one of their favorites. Your best best it to just hold off seeing it for a couple of months and then renting it when it comes out digitally.
