Sometimes all you want in a movie is a bunch of crazy people trying to kill each other in crazy ways. If you find yourself in that mood, you should immediately sit down and watch Boss Level

Is this movie going to stimulate your critical thinking? No. Is it going to give you all the feels? No. Is it going to punch you in the face, kick you while you are falling to the ground and then try to blow you up? Oh, yeah.

While there is a decent plot that holds this story together, it kind of feels like it was an afterthought. I imagine the first meeting being something like this:

Writer: "So, this guy wakes up every day to the same day, and everyone is trying to kill him."

Studio Exec: "Cool! Let's do it!

Intern: "What's the story that makes it all happen?"

Studio Exec: To intern - "You're fired!" To the writer, "Just come up with a little something so that it justifies the good stuff."

If you just read that and said, this sounds like something I want to see, trust me, it is. As long as you check your brain at the door you will have a blast watching this movie.
