This is the kind of comedy that, you know going into it, is going to be formulaic. It's going to have some funny moments and some heartwarming moments. That said, I was still surprised by how heartwarming it got. 

 

This is by no means a great film, but it is good. It's a movie that will give you a nice break from reality. It'll give you a chance to relax for a couple of hours, have a few laughs, and possibly even a nice, little cry. 

 

There is nothing in this movie that makes it memorable, important, or even worthy of being seen in theaters, but if you do, you will most likely enjoy it. If you are looking for a break from all of the holiday craziness, this film is a good choice.
