Clint Says: Don't even bother

The first 15 minutes of this movie are dreadfully boring.

And then, it gets worse from there.

The next hour of this terrible cinematic experience is made up of about 45 minutes of the main character slowly walking towards the next jump scare.

And then, it gets worse from there.

Yes, it's true. This terrible, horrible, no good, lack-of-story, boring, mockery of the horror genre actually tries to do a u-turn and become this cerebral, artsy-fartsy, deep-thinker piece of cinema. Shockingly, (to no one), it fails miserably at it. Nearly every person that watched this movie with me walked out at the end scratching their heads, and saying, "what was that?"

Even if you can figure out the unexplained ending, it doesn't make the movie any better, because none of the reveals at the end matter to the rest of the story as it is told.

The only good thing this film has to offer it that it does have some creepy moments, and a couple of decent scares, but if you want more out of your horror film than to jump once or twice, you'll want to look anywhere else but here.

Turn away from THE TURNING.
