Clint Says: Wait for the digital release

Here is the good news...this movie is so much better than 2017's A DOG'S PURPOSE. The bad news...That movie was terrible, so this one is just barely average.

Thankfully, they stayed away from all of the tragic and traumatic dog death this time and tried to stick with the sweet and funny side of dogs.

The story is okay. It isn't anywhere near an exciting and compelling tale, but it does have enough conflict and twists to make it somewhat interesting.

Josh Gad plays the voice of all of the dogs. He's the best part of the movie delivering several funny lines. The rest of the actors are passable at best.

If you have young children that are interested in seeing this movie, you should probably see it first without them just to make sure they can handle it. In fact, it is probably better to just wait for the film to come out on a digital platform before you see it. That way you can pause it and answer some of the tough questions that will inevitably arise while watching this film.
