It's ironic that a film that focuses on sight, or lack thereof, will not be seen by very many people. This film is way too "artsy fartsy" for the mainstream moviegoer, but it isn't deep and disturbing enough to appease the elite cinephiles.

Blake Lively is amazing in her role, but her counterpart, Jason Clarke comes across more creepy and desperate than he should. Also, the stakes aren't high enough for us to really care about the outcome. The events that transpire are mildly suspenseful, but I never really felt like anything important was truly on the line.

The movie is shot very well, giving us an interesting perspective of what she can and can't see as the film progresses. However there are a lot of extraneous artistic shots that do nothing more than drag out an already slow-paced movie.

If you are looking for a good, creepy, obsessive, love story, find a copy of SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY, or FATAL ATTRACTION. This one is simply not worthy of being seen.
