When it comes to police dramas it is all about the action and suspense. This movie has plenty of both. Plus it also has great acting by Naomie Harris.

The film is filled with interesting twists and turns. It's impossible to know who s on who's side, so it really feels like Harris's character is all alone. She does a wonderful job of straddling the line between staying under control and completely freaking out.

Perhaps the best aspect of this movie is how real it is. It shows the struggle between the police and the black community in a way that is real and gritty, yet it is also understandable and filled with emotion.

If you like police dramas and are a fan of being in suspense for 90% of the movie, then you should see BLACK AND BLUE. It is a well-done film that is worth seeing.
