Here's the bottom line: Universal Studios, the company that made this movie, doesn't care about it, so why should we? How do I know?
1. There are at least five times where a character drops an F-bomb, but the studio decided they wanted a PG-13 rating, so they overdubbed the lines. They didn't bother to re-shoot any of the scenes, they just overdubbed to save money. So, several times you'll see a character saying "f---", but "friggin'" comes out of his or her mouth.
2. This film actually releases the Friday before Mother's Day, but all of the promotion for the film says, "Mother's Day." Why would you skip over the two biggest movie going days of the week in order to promote a Mother's Day open? Obviously, they have already written this one off.
So, why should we care about this movie? We shouldn't. It's a bad story, it has secondary characters played by people that are some of the worst actors I've ever seen on the big screen, and it is full of ridiculous plot holes.
This one is a complete waste of your time and if you take your mother to see this on Mother's Day she will be very disappointed in your life choices.
