Clint Says: Drop everything and go see this movie now

To date, this is easily one of the best films of 2018. It is a perfect slice of life story about one of the worst years in all of our lives.

One minute you will be laughing, then you'll be crying, and after that you'll want to climb into the movie and give the poor girl a hug and tell her everything gets better. It does a great job of using the story to mimic the emotions and awkwardness of eighth grade. In fact, it does such a good job it my take you some time to get over all of the memories this film will dredge up for you.

It is a triumphant and powerful film that will flash you back to your own childhood, but also shock you with the things that kids have to deal with today.

Elsie Fisher gives a spectacular performance that makes the movie even better and more real. She is genuine and adorable. She is also fun and independent.

If you only see a couple of films each year, this should be one of them.
