Clint Says: See this in theaters when you can
I'm very torn over this movie. On one hand I want everyone in Nashville to see it because the producer, director, and lead actress are all from Franklin, TN. On the other hand, it's really just an okay movie. It's the kind of film that I would usually say is worth seeing once it comes out digitally, but not worth spending theater prices. However, since we are just getting out of this pandemic, and theaters need our business, and this is a "local" film, I say it's worth a trip to the theater so you can support local art.
As I said, the film is okay. It has some very nice and emotional moments, but it is a little slow, about 20 minutes too long, and there are a couple of scenes where the dialogue isn't as good as it should be.
The good news is that it will give you all of the appropriate feelings and moments if you are a fan of romantic comedies.
So, while this may not be the greatest movie to come out it's still worth giving it a shot.
