This is one of those movies that you really need to see on the big screen, but it's 2020 so it skipped the theaters and went straight to VOD. So what you need to do is find a friend with the biggest entertainment system and watch it at their house.

These apocalypse flicks tend to go one way or another, very rarely are they just okay. They are either completely stupid and eye-rollingly bad, or they are filled with a ton of suspense and edge-of-your-seat action. Thankfully, this one is the latter.

They did a good job about helping the audience care for the characters, and making us feel like they were constantly on the verge of losing it all. They also didn't have the characters do anything stupid to get themselves in bad situations. Everything they do is something we all would try to do in their situation, and sometimes it just doesn't work out the way we plan.

The effects are great, the sound is amazing, and the pacing will keep your heart pounding for nearly two hours.

If you like action flicks or end of the world tales, then you will really enjoy this movie. Just don't watch it on your phone or laptop, you are doing yourself and the movie a disservice if you do.
