Clint Says: Drop everything and go see this in theaters now

As the father of two adopted daughters I was immediately intrigued by the premise of this movie. Adoption is rarely portrayed properly in film, and in most cases it is shown in a very negative light. (Just think about all of the times you've seen an older brother yelling "you're adopted" at his younger sibling). INSTANT FAMILY totally nails it.

If you are an adoption-friendly family you need to get to the theater immediately and see this movie. It is so dead-on perfect. You will be laughing hysterically one minute, crying the next, and feeling all warm and fuzzy, too. My wife and I found ourselves laughing at several moments that the rest of the audience didn't get. There were also moments where we wanted to stand up and yell "preach!" at the screen.

One warning to adoptive families though. You'll also leave this movie wanting to adopt again.

The cast is so great. Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne have wonderful chemistry and comedic timing. Isabela Moner plays the teen with baggage to absolute perfection. We've seen her in other big-budget movies, but this may end up being her big breakout role.

For those of you without adopted or foster kids, this is still a wonderful and hilarious film. It is very much worth your time and money.
