What do you get when you take THE ITALIAN JOB, OCEAN'S 11 and put it in a blender with hillbillies and NASCAR?

What happens when you add in an incredible cast?

You get a great movie!

This may end up being the sleeper hit of the summer. Once people begin to realize that it is a smart, intricate, and deep film as well as funny and packed with action and tension, it wouldn't surprise me to see this film still in the box office top 10 six or seven weeks from now.

Even though the film is full of stereotypes and obnoxious things that Hollywood thinks people in the South do, but really they don't, the cast nails it. Daniel Craig gives an award-worthy performance. Channing Tatum and Adam Drive are exceptional. And the rest of the cast fills in all around them in perfect harmony.

The only thing bad about this movie is the last 20 or so minutes. After the heist ends the scenes that tie everything up with a nice bow are choppy and too long. (See OCEAN'S 11 for a perfect way to tie up a heist movie). Overall though this is only a minor offense.

This is a great heist movie with moving and deep relationships, smart comedy, and stellar acting. If you like fun and intrigue you'll love this movie.
