Clint Says: Wait for the DVD

This is a deep, powerful, and moving film. It gives the viewer insight into a culture about which many of us know very little.

The story is one that will make most people upset, but you also see that all parties involved are only trying to do what their religion requires. It is a powerful moment when the lead character comes to the realization that love and religion don't have to be at odds with one another.

This isn't an exciting or fast-paced film, but the story is beautiful. There is nothing in the film that makes it worth seeing on the big screen, but if you like well done foreign language films you should give MENASHE a try.
