Clint Says: Wait until after opening weekend, but see this in theaters

THE REVENANT is an amazing film, but it is not an easy one to watch. It is gritty, rough, harsh, brutal, violent and uncomfortable. It is also one of the best films of the year. It was released just under the wire for the 2015 awards season, so expect to see it getting all sorts of accolades over the next few months.

DiCaprio gives an Oscar-worthy performance and his supporting cast, especially Tom Hardy, is nothing short of spectacular. While filming this movie, the cast had to endure ridiculously harsh conditions, and DiCaprio even slept inside an animal carcass as well as ate raw bison meat. (That scene was left in the movie and DiCaprio’s reaction is legit).

Obviously, this film is not one that everybody will love. It's not a light-hearted popcorn flick or a suspenseful thriller, but it is an outstanding film that will move you and stick with you long after you leave the theater.
