There isn't much to say about this film. It's a straight up slasher flick. It's not smart, or deep, or intriguing. It's primal, it has moments that are ridiculous, and it has several moments of convenience. The good new is that it also has quite a few good scares.

This is one of the few slasher flicks that doesn't rely on jump scares to make the movie work. It uses real drama and suspense to keep your heart racing. Unfortunately, it also relies on the characters doing some colossally stupid stuff in order for the plot to continue.

If you do see this movie and you are thinking to yourself that the main girl looks familiar, well you are right. She was the youngest girl on Disney's WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE. Let that little nugget sink in and make you feel old.

Will this movie give you some good scares? Yes. Will it become a movie that you need to see again and again? No. Will you be happy if you drop $14 on this at the theater? Probably not.
